Beowulf and Grendel Speedpaint

This is a really quick and sloppy speed paint, but I wanted to get it finished while the episode was still fresh in my mind.

Anyway, yeah, you probably wouldn't know it by looking at it, but this is Star Trek fanart. >_<

I remember, way, way back in the day, when Voyager was first airing, one of my favourite episodes was "Heroes and Demons". It was basically one of those holodeck-malfunction episodes where the holodeck was stuck on a Beowulf program, and the character of Grendel was replaced by a matter-devouring photonic organism.
It was always one of my favourites because I LOVED The Doctor back then, and this was the first episode where he begins to assert his humanity. <3

Anywho, I was lucky enough to catch this episode on TV this evening, and it brought back so many memories that I just had to doodle it up. :]
(Me and my mom watch Voyager a lot. We like watching Janeway and counting how many times she puts her hands on her hips or crosses her arms in an episode. xD It's pretty funny stuff (like stalking suggestibrows.))

I'm sure none of you care about my favourite Voyager episodes, and most of you probably don't even know who The Doctor IS, nevermind which episode this is, so I won't bore you any more.
